Rick BerryFrederick C. “Rick” Berry, Jr., a native of Phoenix, is a lawyer practicing insurance litigation. He received his B.S. in Insurance (1969) and his Juris Doctor (1973) from Arizona State University. While in law school, Mr. Berry served as an editor of the Arizona State Law Journal.

He served as Deputy Director of Insurance of the State of Arizona from 1976 through 1978 before entering private practice.

He is a certified specialist in personal injury and wrongful death litigation, a Judge Pro Temp of the Maricopa County of the Superior Court and has served on the State Bar of Arizona Professional Liability Committee as well as Chairman of its Insurance Committee. Presently, he is also a Hearing Officer for the Disciplinary Commission of the Arizona Supreme Court.

Rick Berry presently serves as a member of the board of directors of the AzLost Boys Center, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (Central and Northern Arizona Chapter) and Casa De Amigas (a non-profit substance abuse treatment facility for indigent women). He has previously served on the board of directors of the Men’s Art Council and the Phoenix Boys’ Choir Association. Rick is married to Carolyne W. Berry and has two adult children working in Washington, D.C.
